Game Change is FINALLY on DVD.

The book was one of my favorites and focused evenly on the Obama and McCain run in 2008 - this movie was all about Lady Sarah. I was actually feeling sorry for Palin by the end of the 2 hours - then I turned on the news and she reminded me why I chose to ignore her, her antics and her entire family.

Julianne Moore IS the best she has ever been. = A+

TV - Downtown Abbey (Masterpiece Theatre)

Bond, James Bond...Benny Hill and William and Kate - that's it for my UK explosion. I am not a fan of the Brits, period pieces and hard accents so I never paid this show any attention. Over the year it took over many award shows as well as talk on the daytime shows but then the actors started popping up on my political shows?! Really Chris Matthews. It wasnt until Jimmy Fallon's parody (which was spot on) and even included Brooke Shield and Whoopi Goldberg that opened my eyes.

A number of friends have been yacking my ear off about this show. While I was pushing the latest Wipe Out big balls special a close friend told me she and her husband were watching Downtown Abbey season one and two. She convinced me to give it an hour or two. I gave it two...SEASONS. I STILL cant explain how I got sucked in.

I got hooked QUICKLY - The best description: Dynasty/Dallas with equal time following the house maids and butlers. This was SUPRISINGLY a great show - I am in.

Not just PBS but MASTERPIECE THEATRE My Lord and My Lady ..LOL
